We are actively committed to reducing the emissions of our plants and to prioritising the use of clean energy.
At the end of 2010, we installed a 484-Kw photovoltaic system on the south-facing slopes of our two plants, which produces 30% of all the electricity we use.
Our cooling plant is equipped with an innovative energy recovery system: the energy that would otherwise be lost is recovered by the condenser and used for the production process and for heating the break area. This prevents the wasteful use of fossil fuels and significantly reduces the company’s environmental footprint.
Today, our sustainability objective is equally as important as the company’s more long-standing values of research into qualitative excellence and customer satisfaction.
